That is what Westmont Catering is all about.  Meal after meal, of quality, fresh dishes made for you and your guests.  We are compelled by our passion for food to offer as many choices as possible to our customers. We have been preparing food for over 17 years and now our catering division is growing side by side with Westmont Diner. The following pages are just a sample of the diverse menus you have to choose from.  Of course, it keeps on coming as we offer seasonal selections to keep you excited about our next chapter.

We have gathered some frequently asked questions and answers about Westmont’s catering options.

If you do not see your question here, please contact us and we will surely have the information for you.

 1. What does your menu include?

Our menus are priced as disposable, drop off events.  We include all upgraded quality paper goods for your guests and disposable wire racks for hot buffet packages.  For a la carte options, racks and sterno are priced separately.

2.  I love your food, but I have a lot of guests.  Can you handle this and supply staff?

Absolutely.  We always suggest adding staff for larger events and we can make suggestions for the number of staff required to help your event run smoothly.

3. Can we create our own menu, or do we need to pick from your menu only?

Feel free to mix and match to create your own menu and we will be more than happy to price it out.

We can also develop theme buffets, barbecues, wedding packages or station receptions…whatever you need

4. How far in advance should we book?

We take last minute orders all the time, however in order to have time to plan your event properly, we ask to have everything finalized 1 week prior to your event date. Then all we would need is your guarantee and payment.  So whenever possible more time is better for the success of your event.

5. Do you drop off, serve or stay at the event?

It depends.  We have different styles of catered events

            Drop Off/A la Carte

This event style is dropped off and given to the host for placement.

            Drop Off Packages

This style has our staff there for set-up and then the host takes over and is responsible for any replenishing of food and clean up.  Any food left over stays with the host.

             Drop Off/Attended

This style has our staff there for set-up, maintaining and replenishing the buffet.  We will clean up and bag any trash.  This option can have servers if requested.

            Full Service/Gold Standard

Exactly as Stated.  We do it all.  Rent the china, linens and flowers if requested.  We stay and serve your event and leave the venue looking better than we found it. There are no disposables for this style of event and can be buffet, reception or plated.

6. Is there a minimum number of guests?

No, we do catering for any number of guests. The pricing may change for very small events and some selections may not be available, but we do everything to accommodate your needs.

7. Plastic paper goods are fine, but I wanted my buffet to be decorated in a theme…Can you accommodate?

We would love to do that for you. There are many budget levels available for you to choose and we can do as little or as much as you want.  Feel free to test our creativity!

8. HELP. I do not know where to start. I have no idea what my budget is, how much food to order or what type of menu to choose.  Can you walk me through the planning process?

Of course! Our catering manager is experienced in planning all types of events and will assist with everything you need to start.  We are a full service caterer so planning from the beginning is our specialty!



Westmont Catering will supply services to the client based on the final contract signed by client.  Client will provide any equipment and services agreed to on same contract.


For the agreed upon services, client will pay caterer three (3) days prior to event date in the form of cash or credit card unless other arrangements have been made

Client may request additional services, with the knowledge that these services will add to the total cost agreed upon in the original contract and must be agreed to in writing in a separate document or an addendum to original contract.


Client agrees to provide caterer with a guaranteed number of guests no later than five (5) business days prior to event.  Client may increase the number of guests up to 24 hours prior to event, although any addition to the guaranteed guest count will result in an additional 20% added to the extra guests.

Drop-Off Catering is produced on an industry standard of catering production. No extra food is available on the day of event.

Client will break down the guest into adults and children and include any food allergies or special dietary requests if applicable.

Should there be more guests than those guaranteed, the caterer will do everything possible to feed the extra guests.  Client will be charged for the total number of guests fed in any case if the count is over the guaranteed number.  Any extra amount billed is due within three (3) days of event.


Menu must be confirmed seven (7) days prior to event in order to guarantee proposed pricing.


Client may cancel five (5) days prior to event in writing with no penalty.  Cancellation occurring within 48 hours will result in a 50% charge for the event.  Cancellations occurring within 24 hours will not be refunded and caterer will remain with 100% of payment received.


Attended Events

Any overage of non -served food will be retrieved by caterer.  Any leftover served food may be taken by client under his or her responsibility, with the understanding that all food will be handled properly according to food safety procedures.  Caterer will not be responsible for any containers or plates for leftover food
